With the 2008/09 season about to start we need to think of some ways to bring the club together outside of the badminton hall. No doubt we'll have the Christmas curry but surely we can organise a get together before then?

I've listed a few of my ideas and the more serious ones from Pauline. But I'd really like to hear from other club members so that we can build a list of activities that people actually want to do! Why not head over to the 'Contact Us' page and fire an idea across right now?

• Christmas 'Do' - Saturday 6th December.
  • The Reading Moat House by Sindlesham Mill.
    The price will be £34 per person and for this you get a three course meal followed by a themed disco of boogie wonderland of 70's / 80's music. Also fancy dress is optional and there is a prize for the best one! Pauline will need a non refundable deposit of £10 per person by the 24th September - the balance will need to be paid by the 8th November.
     
• Go-Karting - Come on, surely its not just me?
• Flower Arranging - Okay that one is just me!
• Staggered Start Monthly Run / Jog.
• Camping, what with all the lovely weather...
• Ski Trip to Milton Keynes.
• Paint Balling?
• Skittles Evening.
• Ten Pin Bowling.

    Pauline is currently thinking of trying to organise this for the end of October. If you'd like to see it happen then make sure you shout and let her know your availability.
